Kane CLI By TestMu AI কী?

Kane CLI — AI Browser Automation & Testing, From Your Terminal Kane CLI is a terminal-native AI testing tool from TestMu AI (formerly LambdaTest) that turns plain-English instructions into verified browser tests. Instead of writing and maintaining brittle Playwright or Selenium scripts, you describe what should happen — \"log in as an admin, open the billing page, and confirm the plan shows Enterprise\" — and Kane CLI drives a real Chrome browser to execute it, verify each step, and return a deterministic pass or fail with a shareable evidence link. It's built for two kinds of users at once: humans who want fast end-to-end verification without scripting, and AI coding agents that need a reliable way to prove the code they write actually works in a browser. What makes Kane CLI different Most browser automation falls into two camps — powerful-but-high-maintenance frameworks (Playwright, Selenium) that break every time the UI shifts, or general browser agents that perform tasks but have no concept of a test. Kane CLI is built specifically for verification: every run ends in a binary pass/fail, backed by a real browser session you can replay. Tests, not just tasks. And when a flow stabilizes, one command exports it to native Playwright code you can drop into a maintained suite — so it complements your existing stack instead of replacing it. Key features Natural-language test authoring — Describe flows in plain English. No selectors, no custom DSL, no boilerplate. Runs in a real Chrome browser — Actions are limited to what a real user can do; no JS injection to bypass validation. Results reflect reality. Deterministic pass/fail — Same objective plus same context yields the same result. Not a one-shot LLM guess. Autoheal — Absorbs cosmetic UI changes (renamed buttons, shifted layouts) that would break a traditional script, and pushes through to finish the journey. Vision-based dynamic waiting — Detects what's actually on screen, handling canvas, shadow DOM, and JS-heavy frameworks that resist selectors. Native Playwright export — Convert any run into editable Playwright code. Two-way migration also lets you ingest existing Playwright/Selenium scripts. Shareable evidence links — Every run produces a URL with full replay, video, step trace, screenshots, and network/console logs. Paste it into Slack, Jira, or a PR as proof. Built-in Ask tool — On a CAPTCHA or OTP, Kane CLI pauses, asks a human to clear that one step, and resumes — human-in-the-loop without halting the workflow. Three run modes — Interactive TUI for debugging, headless CLI for CI/CD, and agent mode with structured NDJSON output for AI agents. One-command agent integration — npx @testmuai/kane-cli-skill installs Kane CLI as a skill for Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, and Gemini CLI, so your agent invokes it automatically. Test.md — Capture any session as replayable markdown with variables and imports: an agent-native, human-readable test artifact. CI/CD ready — Standard exit codes (0 pass, 1 fail, 2 error, 3 timeout) with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Bitbucket Pipelines. Cloud grid support — Runs locally on Chrome by default, or connects to TestMu AI's remote grid for cross-browser execution at scale. Who it's for Developers & vibe coders verifying features end-to-end before a PR, without writing 200 lines of test code. QA engineers who want resilient checks that don't shatter on every UI tweak. AI coding agents that need to close the loop between \"wrote the code\" and \"proved it works.\" DevOps & platform teams running browser checks in CI without a test codebase to maintain.
